Bringing Children to the 2009 AWC
Parents who decide to bring children to AWC 2009 do so on the understanding that Parents/Guardians accept full responsibility for their safety, conduct and supervision, and that the AWC Committee will accept no responsibility whatsoever for negligence on behalf of parents. AWC 2009 does not offer children services or entertainment and the venue is not geared for children under 5 years of age because of open wetlands encompassed on the site. Because sleeping arrangements are bunk style designed mainly for school groups, children who take a bed will be charged $180. If a child is under 5 years of age the parent is required to bring their own sleeping equipment which must not block exits, interrupt traffic flow through cabins or hinder other guests in any way. Be aware also that all parents bringing children will be placed in the one cabin/dorm so that disruption to them and other guests is minimal.
